COMMENTARY:
“The script elaborately illustrates the wild, lawless American West, rediscovering the line between law and outlaw, crime and survival. Customary views of these times—raping, pillaging, scalping, murdering, stealing, horse chases and lusty escapades—all uniquely told through the lives of three characters seldom illustrated in westerns—a female assassin, an African American soldier, and an educated young Mexican Man.” ~ Cynosure Screenwriting Awards.

FEATURE FILM SCRIPT: Birth of the Last Empire:
Part I of The Amubian Knight Chronicles.
GENRE:
Epic / Post-Apocalyptic / Romance-Drama / Sci-Fi / Action / Adventure.
LOG LINE:
A noble warrior, prophesied to unite post-apocalyptic Africa, engages in a perilous love affair with the sultry wife of the powerful Archduke of this rising futuristic empire called Ambia.
Written by Deon H. Hayman
PLOT SUMMARY:
An ancient prophecy, scribed in an archaeological discovery called “The Nubian Scrolls,” foretells of a man who shall one day unite all of Africa into one empire, “which shall be the last empire.” This prophecy begins to unfold during the outset of World War III, when many Black Americans heeded the prophecies in the Nubian Scrolls, migrated to Africa, called themselves Amubians, and formed a new kingdom that rose to become a world power. Amubians began to rule 1/3 of Africa as a Noble Class and now live in opposition to the Native Africans, called “Yahes”.
After an assassination attempt, CROWN PRINCE OSAHAR renounces the throne and flees to the reconstructed U.S. to raise the royal family in safety. There, Osahar’s eldest son, BOMANI, grows up to become a high school champion in the virtual warrior competitions (a world-renowned competition that realistically simulates arena battles). Bomani returns to the Amubian Kingdom on scholarship to the University of Timbuktu, where his skill as a virtual warrior competitor gains him popularity and fame amongst Amubians and Yahes.
In avoidance of getting involved with the Amubian aristocracy, Bomani recklessly sparks an affair with DUCHESS AYANA, the wife of the Archduke of Kamenwati. Upon discovering their affair, the Archduke seeks revenge and leads a conspiracy to have Bomani killed. Bomani’s love for the Duchess keeps him from fleeing back to the U.S. In his quest to save her from the Archduke's imprisonment, he seeks refuge with Yahe's freedom fighters, who are at odds with the Amubian aristocracy. This epic tale is the first chronicle of Bomani’s life, in which he learns to accept his divine destiny as a noble Knight for all who call Africa home.

FEATURE FILM SCRIPT: The Amubian Knight:
Part II of the Amubian Knight Chronicles.
GENRE:
Epic / Romance-Drama / Sci-Fi / Action / Adventure.
LOG LINE:
Prince Bomani (the hero of its post-apocalyptic prequel, Birth of the Last Empire) rises to power and unwittingly fulfills ancient prophecies discovered in the revered Nubian Scrolls, foretelling a man who shall unite all of Africa into one empire, which shall be “The Last Empire”.
Written by Deon H. Hayman
PLOT SUMMARY:
An ancient prophecy, scribed in an archaeological discovery called “The Nubian Scrolls,” foretells of a man who shall one day unite all of Africa into one empire, which shall be “the last empire.” This prophecy unfolds in a post-Western civilization world where the descendants of Black Americans rule 1/3 of Africa as a Noble Class, called “Amubians”, and live at odds against the Native Africans, called “Yahes”.
Continuing where Birth of the Last Empire leaves off, after his victory over the Virtual Warrior’s Championship, PRINCE BOMANI astonishes the world when identifying himself as the Balondemu, meaning “The Chosen One,” prophesied about in the Nubian Scrolls. Following college, he seeks a life worthy of his position, joins the military, and participates in an exhibition that commences to fulfill the prophecy. Many begin to see him as the Balondemu. But because of his reclusive past, his political policies differ from those of his imperialistic Amubian peers of Nobility, yet he wins the hearts of the Yahe people and opposing African nations. Secretly, he begins to court Princess Serafina, the daughter of a Zulu South African Emperor, who earlier had risen into his nation’s greatest rival.
With many believing he is the fulfillment of the prophecies, Bomani is able to convince all of Africa to partake in what he has titled “The Civilized War”, a war that lines each African nation to do battle with one another on a chosen battlefield without the use of technological weapons. Only weapons wielded by the muscle of man can be used for war, and the nation with the most victories wins the sovereign right to create the regime of which all Africa shall be governed. As his relationship with Princess Serafina heightens, the Civilized War narrows down between his nation and hers. In the end, the best regime wins, Africa becomes one, and a 3,500-year-old prophecy is fulfilled.

LOG LINE:
A modern-day “Prodigal Son” squanders his inheritance on lavish living, causing him to repentantly return home to a forgiving father and an unforgiving brother.
Story by Jesus Christ
Screenplay by Deon H. Hayman
PLOT SUMMARY:
Told with a celebration of Gospel, R&B, and Hip-Hop music, JACOB, a famous ex-pro football player turned highly successful businessman and husband to a late renowned Gospel singer, has two sons: JUDAH and ISREAL. Determined to go his own way, Israel, the younger son (nicknamed Izzy), asks his father for his share of the family inheritance. When his father grants it to him, he moves from Atlanta, GA, to a “far away land” (Los Angeles, CA) and pursues his dream of becoming a music mogul.
Falling into the trap of becoming a man in pursuit of fame, vanity, and materialistic women, Izzy shortly finds himself lost in a failing music industry; all the while, a nationwide famine arises. Disregarding the warning signs of disaster, he continues to spend extravagantly. Within a year of bad investing and living lavishly, he squanders away all his money, finds himself addicted to narcotics, and is reduced to living on the streets of LA during the greatest famine America has ever known.
Penniless, starving, and homeless, Izzy desperately takes a job working for a pig farmer, who gathers sanitized food waste from high-end restaurants to feed the pigs. The famine grows so great that when the eco-friendly pig food becomes appetizing to Izzy, he realizes even the lowest of his father’s servants was better off than he. He then comes to his senses, humbles himself, and returns home. As he approaches his father’s estate, his father sees him from a distance and lovingly rushes to greet him. All his attempts to apologize are met with instant forgiveness, reducing them both to tears. Jacob throws him a grand “Welcome Home” celebration, sparing no expense. However, not everyone welcomes his return home.
Judah, envious that their father had never thrown a party of such magnitude for him, refuses to participate. Jacob pleads that they must celebrate, for this younger brother of yours was dead and is alive again; Israel was lost, and is now found. Despite their father’s plea, Judah shows no forgiveness until their Pastor delivers a moving Christmas sermon, followed by Izzy’s spirit-filled performance of “Amazing Grace”, which melts Judah’s heart, leading him to reconcile with his brother.

SPEC 6-PART MINI-SERIES: “Daniel In Babylon”
GENRE:
Biblical / Drama / Epic / Mystery / Faith-Based
LOG LINE:
Based on historical records and the biblical Book of Daniel, Daniel’s life tells a single story woven through many trials: kingdoms rise and fall, power crumbles, and pride deceives… But faith, courage, and trust in God endure forever.
Story by the Prophet Daniel
Screenplay by Deon H. Hayman
Episode 1: Faithfulness in Exile
When the kingdom of Judah fell to Babylon, a young man named DANIEL was taken far from home. In the king’s court, he was chosen for training among the finest youths, given new clothes, a new language, and even a new name. Yet Daniel refused to let his identity fade. When offered the king’s rich food and wine, he quietly chose a different path, honoring his faith instead of royal luxury. Over time, his strength, wisdom, and clarity surpassed all others, proving that quiet conviction could outshine worldly power.
Episode 2: The Dream No One Could Tell
King Nebuchadnezzar was troubled by a dream so mysterious that he demanded not only its meaning but its telling. None could help—except Daniel. Turning to God, Daniel received both vision and interpretation: a great statue of kingdoms rising and falling, crushed at last by a stone not cut by human hands. Daniel revealed it all, and the king was astonished. From that day, Daniel rose in power, declaring that earthly empires may dominate for a time, but only God’s kingdom endures forever.
Episode 3: The Furnace of Faith
Three of Daniel’s friends—Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego—stood before a towering golden statue, commanded to bow or perish. But they refused. Their faith was unshaken, even when threatened with a blazing furnace. Cast into the fire, they were not consumed. A fourth figure walked beside them in the flames, and they emerged without harm. The king, shaken, recognized that true devotion could not be burned away, and their God was greater than any earthly decree.
Episode 4: The King Humbled
Nebuchadnezzar dreamed once more, this time of a mighty tree cut down. Daniel warned him: pride would bring him low. The king dismissed the warning, boasting in his greatness—until madness overtook him. He lived like an animal, stripped of dignity, until at last he lifted his eyes in humility. His reason returned, and with it a new understanding: power is given, not earned, and even kings must bow to the Most High.
Episode 5: The Writing on the Wall
A new king, Belshazzar, reveled in excess, mocking what was sacred. During a feast, a mysterious hand appeared, writing words no one could understand. Daniel was summoned once again. He read the message: judgment had come. The kingdom had been weighed and found lacking. That very night, Babylon fell. The warning was clear—arrogance and disregard for truth inevitably lead to downfall.
Episode 6: Lions Den to Liberation
Under a new ruler, Daniel’s excellence stirred jealousy. Officials plotted against him, knowing his devotion to prayer could trap him. A law was passed forbidding prayer to anyone but the king. Daniel did not waver. He prayed openly, as he always had, and was thrown into a den of lions. Yet by morning, he stood unharmed—protected by divine power. His faith had silenced even the fiercest beasts, proving that loyalty to God is stronger than fear of death.
In the end, the new ruler, King Cyrus of Persia, issues a decree to release the Jews and allow them to return from Babylon to Jerusalem, but the elderly Daniel remains behind.
